Set adjacent to a world heritage park of rainforest, mountains and glacier, Franz Alpine Resort is a sublime location for tourists to enjoy and participate within. The popularity of such an area prompted the need to accommodate growing visitor numbers and so the vision began for a multipurpose village for tourist accommodation, commerce, residences and amenities while recognising the significance of the West Coast heritage of gold, timber-milling and harnessing of water for industry. The development is well underway within the residential area.
