Glasson Huxtable were engaged to do a landscape masterplan for New Zealand's largest single vineyard. The masterplan's primary focus is the restoration of different landscape types (hills, river, swale, pond edge) on a 2000ha vineyard near Blenheim. We are working with both and ecologist and the District Council. A master plan, costings and funding applications were undertaken. Elements included in the plan are recreational facilities, weed and predator control, removal of willows, propagation and planting of a mixed native forest and a totara - kanuka timber forest.
